ABOUT

I’m a Helsinki-based designer working with things, spaces and experiences. My work moves between product and lighting design, exhibitions and the spaces in between.

In recent years, my work at Heureka, the Finnish Science Centre, has focused on physical experiences where objects, spaces and digital content come together. I’m particularly interested in the boundary between the physical and digital — and in making that boundary feel as natural as possible.

Alongside experience design, I keep returning to lighting and objects. I’m drawn to simple ideas and to seeing how far they can be pushed through light, materials, construction and use.

My way of working is practical and hands-on. I develop ideas through visuals, modelling and prototyping, with a strong interest in how things are actually made. I try to make things that work, feel clear and have something unexpected about them.
